Cheers to Three New Craft Breweries in Myrtle Beach

We’re excited to fill up our pint glasses and toast to three new craft breweries that are calling Myrtle Beach home. These breweries have all officially opened their doors after months spent crafting unique local brews and creating the perfect spots to unwind with friends and family. If you’re in the mood to sip on something new, here’s more information on what to expect at each of these new hot spots.

Crooked Hammock Brewery

If you’re looking for an easy-going atmosphere with beautiful views of the water, you’ll want to check out The Crooked Hammock Brewery, a craft brewery and restaurant that recently opened at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. Perfect for all ages, their backyard beer garden features hammocks, fire pits, corn hole, ping pong, bocce ball, playgrounds, and more.

The Crooked Hammock brews a variety of craft beer on-site and you can get a behind-the-scenes look into production with a Brewery Tour. Their Tasting Room experience gives you the opportunity to sample some of their year-round favorites like Hammock Easy, South to Somewhere, Beach Escape, and Made in the Shade, along with whatever seasonal flavor is on rotation.

Their restaurant has all the feels of a backyard cookout with a mouthwatering menu filled with options like Pineapple Express Wings, Honey Fried Chicken, and “The” Grandstrander Burger. Also on their grounds, you’ll find The Happy Camper, their food truck that serves cans of their craft beer alongside the lighter fare options from their traditional menu.

Another unique spot to dine or grab a drink at the Crooked Hammock Brewery is at their one-of-a-kind gazebo bar that is located over the Barefoot Landing lake. Whether it’s at their food truck, restaurant, taking a tour, or playing games, the Crooked Hammock Brewery is a wonderful place to unwind and discover the “Hammock State of Mind”.

Tidal Creek Brewhouse

Tidal Creek Brewhouse invites you to sip the day away with two great brews at their new spot in The Market Common. Enjoy a cup of their freshly brewed coffee from The Roasted Bean while you dig into an egg sandwich, bagel, or muffin. There’s even something on the menu for your pup so it can also start the day off right. Other menus they feature include a lunch menu full of salads, wraps, and sandwiches, shareable plates for the evening featuring items like charcuterie boards, flatbreads, and dips, and a brunch menu on the weekends that includes breakfast burritos, shrimp and grits, and avocado toast.

If you’re visiting for the beer, they have quite the selection of craft beer on tap. They keep 15 brews on tap including the Breezy Blonde, Beach Ream IPA, Spottail Red Ale, and a Mango Springmaid Sour Ale, just to highlight a few. Depending on the season, there will be other beers featured as guests among their traditional lineup.

Before making plans to check out this new brewhouse, make sure to take a peek at their events calendar as they host a variety of happenings including Pint & Paint, running groups with Black Dog Running Group, Burpees & Brews Bootcamp, Trivia Night, and DJ Bingo. As the Tidal Creek Brewhouse saying goesthe best way to start and end the day is with their two great brews.

Grand Strand Brewing Company

Grand Strand Brewing is calling the heart of Myrtle Beach home and is just a few blocks away from the beach. They brew quite the flavor-filled lineup of beer including IPAs, pilsners, stouts, and more. They’re always releasing new beers, so make sure to ask what beers they currently have on tap. And the best way to find a favorite pint is by ordering a flight, which features a few small glasses of different beers to sample.

Make sure to come hungry, as there is no shortage of beer-inspired dishes on their menu. You’ll find a selection of tasty items including Beer Battered Chicken Tenders, Beer Cheese Fries, Smoked Brisket Sandwich, and Beer Braised Brats. With a laid-back vibe and lawn full of picnic tables, Grand Strand Brewing is the perfect place to bring family and friends for an afternoon of cornhole, oversized games, local live music, and of course, to sip on some craft beer.
