Myrtle Beach’s Must-See Summer Events Get ready for a summer filled with music, laughter, and unforgettable experiences along the Grand Strand! From June through August
Summer has come to a close, but the end of summer also means football season is here! Whether you’re a college football fanatic (it’s truly a religion in the south!), or professional football is more your game, there are more than enough places to catch the game in Myrtle Beach.
Offering everything from food and drink specials to large, flatscreen TVs and NFL ticket subscriptions, these are the top places in Myrtle Beach to enjoy a little pigskin viewing fun. You’re sure to be in good company too!
The original Dagwood’s Deli in Downtown Myrtle Beach has been a local staple for years, but when they opened their second location with expanded sports bar, Dagwood’s became a sports fan’s paradise. Dagwood’s Deli & Sports Bar located on Highway 17 in Surfside offers 59 TVs including personal flat screens at each table/booth. Additionally, between games or during half time, play your own game of billiards on the pool tables, enjoy a friendly game of darts, or just play one of their popular sports video games. Did we mention the food is great? Dagwood’s has an extensive sandwich menu as well as other sports bar favorites like wings, quesadillas, chili cheese fries, and even salads.
Located at the Market Common, King Street Grille offers the perfect game day environment. With TVs throughout the restaurant and even a large screen TV over the outdoor bar, there is not a bad seat in the house. Sit indoors or enjoy the fall air on their outdoor patio. Take advantage of their food and drink specials and maybe even take part in a friendly game of cornhole!
With more than 50 TVs located throughout the restaurant and a large selection of ice cold beer on tap, Carolina Ale House is the ideal venue for your next football fiesta. Situated just across from Broadway at the Beach, Carolina Ale House serves up a variety of delicious dishes for watching the game from wings and burgers to wraps and salads. Seating is available inside as well as on the outdoor patio, and pool and cornhole are also available for guests to enjoy.
810 Billiards & Bowling has something for everyone. Of course for your game day viewing they have numerous large screen TVs located throughout, but if you get tired of the game, there is also billiards, bowling, darts, air hockey, cornhole and more to keep you entertained. Additionally, 810 offers and extensive menu of delicious bar food and friendly staff, live music on weekends, a Happy Hour every day and a late night “Happier Hour”, too! There is ample seating at the bar as well as many tables for your larger groups and families. With it’s convenient location in Market Common, you could even catch a movie at the Grand 14 Movie Theater down the street before or after the big game and make a whole day of it!
If you’re looking to put a little twist on your game day festivities, this is the place! A prohibition era inspired speakeasy, Strong Waters serves up handcrafted cocktails and local craft beer on tap accompanied by decadent lowcountry cuisine with flair. With TVs located above the bar, you won’t miss a single play. Strong Waters is also centrally located at the corner of Ocean Boulevard and 21st Avenue N. and across from Breakers Resort.
With so many choices, there’s no need to worry about where to catch the game while you’re visiting. Be sure and check our Brittain Resorts specials page for fall deals and come on down!
