Here is your guide for your bar-hopping experience:

New South Brewing

Before you get to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, you should begin your bar-hopping tour at the first brewery in Myrtle Beach, New South Brewing. A small microbrewery located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, all of their tasty craft beer is canned by hand. While they’re known for their popular New South White Ale and Nut Brown Ale, they’re always experimenting with new flavors. Make sure to grab a pint of whatever is on tap that day because chances are, it’s a beer you can only sample at the brewery.

Art Burger Sushi Bar

Located on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, this restaurant and bar draws in a crowd with an eclectic menu filled with craft burgers and a unique spin on traditional sushi. Why it needs to be on your bar-hopping tour? Besides the oceanfront views, the nitrogen bar is a must-see (and taste). That’s right, their cocktails are infused with nitrogen to create a delicious, frozen treat!

The Chemist

A few blocks away from Art Burger is The Chemist, your next stop on the tour. With servers in lab coats, a periodic table on the floor, and the bar that looks like a science experiment, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into the lab of a mad scientist. Their menu is full of unique craft cocktails that you can enjoy sipping out of a bubbling beaker!

Grand Strand Brewing Company

Right across the way from The Chemist is one of Myrtle Beach’s newest breweries, Grand Strand Brewing Company. This new spot is a fun place to relax with a cold brew and friends on a sunny day. They feature an outdoor patio area with plenty of picnic tables, cornhole, and life-size connect four games. Their menu features a selection of beer brewed onsite and a creative variety of beer-inspired dishes, like beer battered chicken tenders and beer cheese fries.

The Bowery

No bar hop is complete without checking out a bar that’s been hosting epic live performances on the boulevard for over 75 years. Back in the 1970s, Alabama was the house band for this hole-in-the-wall honky-tonk. With a bar menu that’s straightforward, this spot is one where you’re bound to have a great time dancing to a local band jamming out by the sparkling Atlantic Ocean.

Moe Moon's

You’ll need two hands to hold your drink at the next stop along your bar-hopping adventure. Situated along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, this little spot is famous for its fishbowl cocktails. Enjoy sipping on one of these giant concoctions—like the WipeOut, Beach Blast Bowl, the 007 Bowl—as you take in the amazing views of the ocean and all the hustle and bustle of the beach. The best part, after you’re done you easily slip back out on the Boardwalk and continue on to the next bar for more fun. 

Riptydz

Head past the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel for a good time at RipTydz, a three-story oceanfront grille and rooftop bar. They know how to throw a beach party daily with music blasting, cornhole, and sand volleyball courts. After some friendly competition with the crew, cool off with a refreshing adult (spiked) Capri sun or a frozen daquiri.

Banditos cantina

Head past the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel for a good time at RipTydz, a three-story oceanfront grille and rooftop bar. They know how to throw a beach party daily with music blasting, cornhole, and sand volleyball courts. After some friendly competition with the crew, cool off with a refreshing adult (spiked) Capri sun or a frozen daquiri.

Tin Roof

All you have to do to get to your next stop on the bar hop tour is walk up a few flights of stairs. Located above Banditos Cantina is Tin Roof. Known for its epic views and live music, this rooftop restaurant and bar features over 15 draft beer selections, domestic beer buckets, seltzers, and a robust list of refreshing cocktails, including Tin Roof favorites like Tin Roof Tea and Blackberry Lemonade. If you’re craving something salty to munch on while you drink, try their Loaded Tots or a plate of Sloppy Nachos.

Tidal Creek Brewhouse

While the Tin Roof concludes the walking portion of your bar-hopping adventure, the excursion doesn’t have to end there. Since you started the tour at one of the oldest breweries, we suggest ending it with a final stop at Tidal Creek Brewhouse, one of the Grand Strand’s newest craft breweries. Not only do they brew a variety of craft ales, pilsners, stouts, and IPAs, each morning they feature coffee brewed locally at The Roasted Bean. And if you’re hopping around during the weekend, you’ll be able to grab a bite to eat from a local food truck to go alongside your brew.
