Myrtle Beach Family Friendly Restaurants

Myrtle Beach has over 70 restaurants to choose from while on vacation. The dining options start in Little River and go down as far as Pawleys Island. Myrtle Beach is a family destination with more than 14 million visitors coming into town each year. With so many families in town, there are plenty of options when it comes to Myrtle Beach’s family-friendly restaurants. Here are a few of our favorite spots to check out.

River City Café

River City Café has five awesome locations in the Grand Strand. The locations range from North Myrtle Beach to Garden City, so it’s easy to find a restaurant nearby. The atmosphere at River City Café is comfortable, fun, and rustic. Be sure to walk around the restaurant and check out all of the license plates hanging on the walls! Patrons of the restaurant are encouraged to bring in an old license plate to hang on the wall. The restaurant is known for its delicious burger selection. All of the burgers are served fresh, never frozen (the RCC slogan). If you’re not into beef, the restaurant offers turkey, veggie, and chicken burgers as a great alternative.

Ultimate California Pizza – Game Zone

Kids plus games are always a win! Especially when you visit Ultimate California Pizza in North Myrtle Beach. There are six great locations along the Grand Strand. However, this location is like no other, because of the Game Zone. Ultimate California Pizza has a great menu with a variety of delicious foods from wings, pizza, salads, and wraps. While waiting for the food to come out, kids can enjoy the different games including Skeeball, basketball, air hockey, interactive toys, and more. Each game gives kids the chance to play for tickets and redeem them for an awesome souvenir at the end. The Game Zone isn’t just for kids though; adults are encouraged to play and have fun too!

Medieval Times Dinner

Medieval Times is a perfect place to take the entire family for dinner and a show! Prepare to be treated like royalty from the moment you walk into the castle in Medieval Times until you leave. The show is filled with a thrilling jousting tournament plus a delicious four-course meal. Some of the food items include oven-roasted chicken, garlic bread, and buttered sweet corn. Medieval Times typically offers different discounts throughout the year making it affordable to take the whole family to the show. Ticket prices begin at $25 for kids and $35 for adults.

Margaritaville

As Jimmy Buffet once sang, “I like mine with lettuce and tomato, Heinz 57, and french fried potatoes!” Visitors of Myrtle Beach can now experience Jimmy Buffet’s classic hit song at Margaritaville, located at Broadway at the Beach. It’s a wonderful place to grab food with the family. Start your meal with some delicious volcano nachos. The appetizer has tortilla chips layered with cheese, chili, fresh guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Yum! We recommend selecting one of the burgers in paradise for your meal. During the evenings, there is a band for your entertainment. So, sit back, relax and keep the margaritas coming!

It can be difficult to find a restaurant that everyone enjoys while on vacation. However, Myrtle Beach has plenty of options to keep the entire family entertained. There are many food choices from seafood, Mexican, Italian and more. We recommend trying out the restaurants listed above when searching for the perfect Myrtle Beach family-friendly restaurant.
