Country Music Festival Adds Kick-Off Date

The countdown clock for country music fans in and around Myrtle Beach is continuing to tick away.

The reason being is the inaugural Carolina Country Music Festival, originally set to be held June 5-7 on the oceanfront, is expanding.

According to promoters of the event, Full House Productions, and city officials from Myrtle Beach, the event is growing in demand. And, due to demand, an added fourth day has been scheduled for June 4 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Sam Hunt will be the headline act for the new opening night and other acts for the added day will be announced in the coming weeks.

Filled with established and up-and-coming country artists, there are more than 35 artists and groups scheduled to play over the course of the four-day festival.

Headliners for the big weekend include Big & Rich, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, and Sam Hunt.

Other artists set to perform at the Carolina Country Music Festival include The Georgia Satellites; Kellie Pickler; Rodney Atkins; Colt Ford; The Marshall Tucker Band; The Davisson Brothers Band; Brooke Eden, Hunter Hayes, and more.

Being held in the heart of Myrtle Beach on the grounds of the former Myrtle Beach Pavilion on Ocean Boulevard, more than 20,000 country music fanatics are expected to be in attendance on a daily basis.

With over half a day of live music and entertainment daily, the festival will begin each day at noon and end around 11:30 p.m.

Tickets for the festival are on sale right now and can be bought online, with a reduced entire-event general admission option and several VIP packages. Ticket prices for the festival start at $159 and go up to $999.

But don’t worry if you’ve already purchased tickets for the three-day version or if you’re planning on buying by April 25. Those who do so will be admitted for free to the opening night event.
