  • Legend has it that St. Patrick drove all snakes out of Ireland. But snakes have never been native to Ireland.

32nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival

March 12, 2022

Parade: 9 a.m.

Festival: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission: FREE

Myrtle Beach’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day parade is an all-day party. Arrive early and get your viewing station set up by 8:30 a.m. This parade packs in the people! Bring the following:

  • Beach chairs
  • Blankets
  • Family
  • Friends
  • Golf carts

How Will I Know What’s Going on in the Parade?

There will be live announcing stations along the route. If you can’t attend the parade, you can watch a live broadcast on WPDE TV 15.

What Will Be at the Festival?

Enjoy three stages for live entertainment. WPDE personalities will emcee activities, which will include dancers, pipe bands, and more. Check out more than 150 vendors, too.

What if We Get Hungry?

Many Main Street businesses will have treats, and you can visit food vendors, too. For fun, there’ll be street entertainers and leprechauns around, too. Bring your little ones to the children’s area for games and rides.

Can I Get Souvenirs From the St. Patrick’s Day Parade?

Visit the Information/Parks and Recreation tent to buy T-shirts in limited supplies. Pick one up early at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center and wear it around the festival.

Who Will Become the Best St. Patrick’s Day Leprechaun This Year?

Why not you? The festival crowns the best leprechaun every year. Dress in your best leprechaun duds and sport them at the festival for your chance to win. Judges will be looking for:
